A gift for someone who’s done the Bob Graham Round
Someone you know has done the Bob Graham Round. That’s 42 Lake District fells in one push, out from the Moot Hall in Keswick and back again, over Skiddaw, Helvellyn, Bowfell, Scafell Pike and Great Gable, inside 24 hours. Behind that one day are usually months of recces, a lot of early starts and a small crowd of friends carrying spare socks and flapjack.
So what do you give someone at the end of that?
What makes a good Bob Graham gift
Fell runners tend to be particular about kit, so new shoes or a new pack are a gamble. The day itself is what they’ll want to keep: the time on the Moot Hall steps, the legs, the people who got them round. A good gift holds on to those details.
A print of their round
Our Bob Graham Round print puts their time at the top, with the round drawn over an Ordnance Survey map, the climbs underneath and every summit marked. Ideally they upload their own GPX so the print follows the line they actually ran, but if you can’t get it, we have the round already drawn.

You add:
- their name, the date and their finish time
- the direction they went, clockwise or anticlockwise, so the legs and summits are numbered the right way round
- a photo from the day, if you have one
There’s also a round sheet on the print, if you want it. It takes the time and pacers for each of the five legs, summit times for all 42 fells, and the support crew. For most people, that list of names is the part that matters most.
You see the finished print before you pay, so you can check every split and every name.

If you want to thank the support crew
A Bob Graham is rarely a solo effort. If you were the one who ran it, a print of the round with the full round sheet, every pacer and every name on the road crew, is a good way to say thank you to the people who got you round.
If it didn’t go to plan
Not every round finishes inside 24 hours, and some stop at Dunmail or Wasdale. Those days can still be the ones people talk about most. The finish time is optional, so you can make a print of the route and the date without it, or wait and give it when they go back for another go.
If you don’t know the details
Don’t know their splits, or want them to fill in the crew themselves? Give them a gift card instead. You choose the amount and the day it arrives by email, and they make the print themselves.
A few other ideas
- Their club claim. Successful rounds can be put forward to the Bob Graham 24 Hour Club for ratification. It’s worth making sure they’ve sent theirs in.
- The next round. Plenty of people who finish a Bob Graham start looking at Wales and Scotland. We print the Paddy Buckley Round and the Charlie Ramsay Round too.
- A gentler Lakeland day. The Abraham’s Tea Round is a shorter round from Keswick, 30 miles with 3,400 m of climbing: a big day out without the 24 hours.
- A long race in the same hills. If they’re heading for the Lakeland 100 next, there’s a print for that as well.
Questions people ask
Do I need their GPX file to buy a Bob Graham Round print?
No, but it’s better with it. Without a file we use our line for the round. With one, the print follows the exact route they ran.
Can I add their leg times and pacers?
Yes. The round sheet takes each leg’s time and pacers, summit times for all 42 fells and the support crew.
They went anticlockwise. Does that matter?
Choose the direction when you personalise it, and the legs and summits reorder and renumber to match.
Is this an official Bob Graham Club product?
No. Our prints aren’t connected with or endorsed by the Bob Graham 24 Hour Club.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Not at the moment. We deliver to UK addresses only, and delivery is free and tracked.
