You remember the day. Keep the route too.
Afterwards, the route sits in your activity history, one small line among hundreds. It deserves better.
-
The line you actually followed
Upload your GPX and we draw the line you actually took, wrong turns and all. Doing a classic round or trail? Start from a route we’ve drawn and add your day to it.
-
The details you’ll want to keep
The name you gave it, the date, the distance and the climb. Your finish time too, if it was a race.
-
Something worth hanging
Over a detailed map or on its own, with a photo from the day if you like. Printed to order for the wall.
Which day would you choose?
It doesn’t have to be the biggest one. Just the one you still talk about.
Your first marathon
Months of training for one morning. Put the finish time on it.
Make a race print
The ride you still talk about
A sportive, a coast-to-coast or a long day in the hills. If you recorded it, it’ll print.

Create yours
The round you’ve always dreamed of finishing
Bob Graham, Abraham’s Tea Round, the Edale Skyline. We’ve drawn the route; you add your name, date and time.

Questions
What does Memories Made Outside make?
Personalised map prints of the runs, walks, races, rides and road trips you want to remember. Make one from your own GPX file, or start from one of more than 100 routes we’ve already drawn, from the Bob Graham Round to the North Coast 500. Add your name, the date and your time, and a photo if you like. Prints come in A4, A3 or A2, framed or unframed.
How do I make a print from Strava or Garmin?
Download the GPX file of your activity from the Strava or Garmin Connect website (the phone apps don’t export it), or from Komoot or OS Maps. Upload it, and we fill in the date, distance and ascent; you can change any of them. Choose a style, size and frame, and see the finished print before you pay. Finding your GPX file shows each app step by step.
What if I don’t have a GPX file?
Start from a ready-made route. We’ve drawn more than 100 rounds, trails, races, marathons, sportives and road trips, so you only add your name, the date and your time. If you went your own way, you can still upload your file on the same page.
How long does delivery take?
Every print is made to order: 2–3 working days for unframed prints and 3 for framed. Delivery is free and tracked. Unframed prints usually arrive 4–6 working days after you order, framed prints 4–5. We deliver to UK addresses only for now. Delivery & returns has the details, including what happens if something arrives damaged.
Can I buy one as a gift?
Yes. If you know the route, make the print with their name and the date: start from one of our routes, or ask them for the GPX file, since only the person who recorded a Strava activity can export it. If you don’t know the details, a gift card for £24, £35, £45, £89 or £115 covers a whole print, and they make their own.
