About this print

The Mamores, the Grey Corries, the Aonachs and Ben Nevis in one round from Glen Nevis: Philip Tranter’s round, first done in 1964.

We print the route over an Ordnance Survey map, with each summit marked. If you recorded the challenge, upload the GPX instead and we’ll print the line you actually took. Add your name, the date, your total time and your summit times if you like, and we’ll print it to order. Your time is the headline.

  • 19 summits, finishing on Ben Nevis (1,345 m)
  • The route, or your own line from your watch or app, with each summit marked
  • Field, Fell, Stone or Night map styles, or plain Minimal and Ink
  • A4, A3 or A2, unframed or framed, or as a digital file; add one photo from the day for £5, or three on A3 and A2 for £10

About the Tranter Round

The Tranter Round circles Glen Nevis over the Mamores, crosses to the Grey Corries and the Aonachs, and finishes over Càrn Mòr Dearg and Ben Nevis. It’s the round Charlie Ramsay later extended into his own.

It’s run in either direction from Glen Nevis, and either way it’s a long day of ridges.

The print shows the route, with each summit marked and your time at the top. If you recorded it, upload your own GPX and we’ll draw the line you actually took.

Questions, answered

Can I add a time for each summit?

Yes. Add summit times and they print on the sheet, numbered in order.

We went clockwise. Does that matter?

No. The route is the same either way, and with your own GPX the print follows the way you went.

Can you add the race logo?

No. We don’t use event logos or suggest any link with race organisers. The print is about your day: your route, your time and the name you give it.

What can I change?

Add your name, the date and your time, and a line of your own if you like. The route, its name and its distance and ascent are filled in, and you can change the figures. Then choose a style, a size and a frame: the preview shows each change.

Can I use my own GPX instead?

Yes. If you went a different way or want your own recording on the print, start from the version where you upload your GPX.

Do I get a digital copy?

Yes. Every print comes with a high-resolution file of your design, free, for sharing or printing again. We email you a download link with your order confirmation, and it works for at least 90 days.

Only want the file? Choose Digital download for £12 and print it wherever you like.
