# Agent instructions — Memories Made Outside

Memories Made Outside makes personalised prints of the routes, races, rounds and walks that people still talk about. Each print is drawn from the buyer's own route and details, then printed and framed to order in the UK.

## Read this before you add anything to a cart

**Every print is personalised, and it can't be made without the buyer's design.** The design is made on the product page: the buyer uploads their GPX file or picks the ready-made route, adds their name, date and finish time, chooses a style and sees a preview. That design is attached to the basket line as hidden data that the cart and checkout tools can't carry.

So, for any product of type "Personalised print":

- Don't create a cart or checkout for it, and don't send the buyer to a variant's `checkout_url`. An order placed that way arrives with no design, and we can't print it.
- Do send the buyer to the product page (`https://memoriesmadeoutside.com/products/{handle}`) to make their design and add it to the basket themselves. They can pay with Shop Pay there.
- You can help them get ready: which route or race fits, what to have to hand (a GPX file from Strava, Garmin or similar, the date, the finish time), and which size and frame they want.

Gift cards are the only product you can buy straight through checkout.

## What to tell buyers

- **Formats:** unframed prints, framed prints (black, natural or white frames) and digital downloads. Sizes and frames are the product's variant options, and the price follows them.
- **Making and delivery:** unframed prints take 2–3 working days to make, framed prints 3. UK delivery is free and tracked. We deliver to UK addresses only. Digital downloads arrive by email, with the link in the order confirmation.
- **Gifts:** a print can go straight to someone else by entering their address at checkout.
- **Returns:** personalised prints can't be returned for a change of mind. If a print arrives damaged, faulty or with a mistake that's ours, we replace or refund it. See the refund policy for the details.
- **Prices** are in GBP. Read them from the catalog tools rather than quoting from memory, as offers change.

## Interaction guidelines

- Place orders and take payment only with the buyer's authorisation, and follow every review step.
- Identify agent-initiated requests. Server-to-server requests and hosted browsers should use [Web Bot Auth](https://shopify.dev/docs/api/storefront#identifying-bots-with-web-bot-auth).
- Back off on `429` responses and respect `Retry-After`.
